Summer Learning Programs

Summer programs supported by the Children’s Services Council focus on academics, physical activity, and social interaction. These programs offer parents piece of mind knowing that their kids are in a safe place away from negative influences while they are out of school. 


CAT Summer Enrichment Program

The CAT Summer Enrichment Program is for students ages 5-14 years old. The Program is specifically designed to help student's increase positive decision-making skills and improve academic performance through educational enrichment activities throughout the summer. The schedule will be Monday-Friday.

Provides summer program for youth with physical and developmental disabilities. The focus of the program is academics, exercise and providing respite support to parents. Each day there will be fillers with trips to the park, library, golf, weekly trips to the fountains, and arts and crafts. 
Please send a packed lunch each day along with 2 bottles of water for your child. We will provide a healthy snack each day.

The purpose of this program is to set all St Lucie County Teens on a path to achieve and build smart goals for themselves. The workforce readiness program helps teens 13-18 develop essential workplace soft skills, resume writing skills and opportunities to practice communicating effectively.

The E.N.D. It! Summer Experience is a Teen Arts camp for middle and high school students. It provides teens with academic enrichment, college and career preparation, field trips, recreation, and arts activities (digital, visual, and performing arts). Students are working on Disney’s Descendants Musical Production over the 8-week program, and must be available for the 7/28/23 performance. Auditions will be held for casting, and the lead roles will earn a stipend! 

Exceptional Academy for Differently-Abled Learners, Inc.

Future Generations provides a music enhancement program where youth experience creating sounds, learning, and playing on keyboards, drums, string instruments, guitars, basses and brass instruments, plus music production, music theory, health/wellness, safety and STEM. Camp Success is a therapeutic day camp that provides learning activities for children with behavioral/emotional problems, ages 6-12, for 8 weeks in the summer. Camp Success targets children in the lower socio-economic areas of St. Lucie County, who, in addition to behavioral health issues, are at risk of losing academic skills over the summer and who are in need of a healthy, therapeutic, educational and entertaining alternative to inadequate or unaffordable summer day care.
